Terms of Service

1. Consultation Services

The House of Arts ("THOA," "we," "us") provides art curation and consultation services in the Miami Metro area. Our services include virtual and in-home consultations, space analysis, art selection, and installation guidance.

• Virtual Consultations: $100 fee, conducted via video call
• In-Home Consultations: $250 fee, conducted at your location within Miami Metro area
• Consultation fee applies toward future art purchases made through THOA within one (1) year of consultation date

2. Booking and Payment

Consultation fees are due at time of booking. Payment is processed securely through Stripe. We accept major credit cards, Apple Pay, Google Pay, and other payment methods available through Stripe.

3. Cancellation and Refund Policy

• Full refund available if cancelled more than 24 hours before scheduled consultation
• No refund for cancellations within 24 hours of consultation
• Rescheduling: Contact info@thehouseofarts.com to reschedule your consultation
• Emergency cancellations due to illness or emergency will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis

4. Intellectual Property

Photos, room analysis, and consultation materials you provide remain your property. Our curatorial recommendations, space studies, and selection expertise constitute our intellectual property. You may use our recommendations for personal purposes but may not share or redistribute our curatorial work commercially.

5. Limitation of Liability

THOA provides curatorial recommendations based on professional expertise and your stated preferences. Art selection and placement decisions are ultimately yours. We are not liable for:

• Changes in personal taste or preferences after consultation
• Art market fluctuations or investment performance
• Damage to property during installation (covered by separate installation agreement)
• Disputes with artists, galleries, or auction houses regarding artwork purchases

6. Data and Privacy

We collect and store booking information, photos, and consultation details to provide our services. This data is retained indefinitely to maintain service history and improve our recommendations. We may contact you about future services and relevant art opportunities. See our Privacy Policy for complete details.

7. Force Majeure

If consultation cannot proceed due to circumstances beyond our control (natural disasters, illness, government restrictions, etc.), we will work with you to reschedule or provide alternative consultation methods. In cases where rescheduling is not possible, consultation fees may be refunded or credited at our discretion.
